Men-Only Residential Care for Co-Occurring Conditions
Sunrise House is a residential treatment program designed specifically for adult men who are navigating both substance use and mental health challenges. Located in a quiet, suburban area of Banning, California, the facility provides 24-hour residential care in an intimate, home-like environment. This setting supports focus and stability while helping clients step away from day-to-day pressures and fully engage in treatment.
Integrated Approach to Mental Health and Substance Use
Treatment is built around an integrated model that addresses substance use and mental health conditions at the same time. The program serves clients with co-occurring concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related needs. Clinical care includes evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, contingency management, trauma-related counseling, and 12-step work. This coordinated approach reflects the understanding that mental health and substance use are often interconnected and are best treated together.
Medications for Addiction Treatment and Clinical Support
Sunrise House offers medications for addiction treatment (MAT) as part of a broader recovery plan, and it can also accept clients who arrive with MAT prescribed elsewhere. Medication support for mental health conditions is available, alongside ongoing monitoring and coordination of care. Comprehensive assessments and screenings help inform treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up helps ensure care remains responsive as clientsā needs change during treatment.
Daily Structure and Services
Clients participate in individual, group, and family counseling, along with substance use education and relapse prevention planning. Additional services include case management, peer support, social skills development, and assistance with accessing housing, employment, and social services. Aftercare planning, outcome follow-up, and recovery support services help clients prepare for the transition out of residential care and stay connected to support over time.
Comfortable, Accessible Residential Setting
The Sunrise House residence is designed to feel calm and welcoming, with natural light, air-conditioned rooms, and indoor and outdoor common areas. The property includes landscaped yards and patio space, offering access to nature and quiet surroundings. Transportation assistance and telehealth options are available, supporting access to care before, during, and after treatment.
