Medically Monitored Detox and Residential Care

We Level Up California provides 24/7 medically monitored withdrawal management and residential substance use treatment on the same campus, so adults do not have to move between facilities as they stabilize. Clients begin with a comprehensive medical and substance use assessment, then move into supervised withdrawal management for alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and other substances before transitioning into structured residential programming.

Support for Mental Health and Substance Use

Many clients who come to this center are managing both substance use and mental health concerns. The team offers mental health services alongside addiction care, including medication for mental health disorders when appropriate. For clients with opioid or alcohol use disorders, clinicians can use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) to help reduce cravings and support safety during and after withdrawal management.

Evidence-Based and Holistic Therapies

Daily treatment blends evidence-based approaches with holistic therapies. Clients may participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, 12-step-informed groups, substance use counseling, and trauma-focused care. The schedule can also include one-on-one counseling, mindfulness and meditation, yoga, music and art-based therapies, psychodrama, and recreational activities. This mix is designed to help clients build coping skills, process past experiences, and practice new routines they can continue after discharge.

Practical Aftercare

Beyond therapy, the program includes services that address day-to-day needs that can affect recovery. Case management, housing services, and employment counseling or training help clients think through where they will live, how they will return to work, or how to look for jobs, depending on individual needs. Recovery coaches, peer support, self-help groups, and family services create additional layers of connection, which can be especially important in early recovery.

Comfortable Setting and Inclusive Community

The center offers shared, air-conditioned bedrooms, indoor lounges with televisions, and common areas for groups and downtime. Landscaped outdoor spaces with gardens, walking paths, and seating areas give clients a place to spend time outside between groups. Programming is co-ed and serves young adults through older adults, with specialized care and groups for women, pregnant and postpartum clients, veterans, active-duty military, and people who have experienced trauma or intimate partner violence.
