Full Continuum of Treatment

For those who need it, treatment can start with medically supervised withdrawal management (detox). Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed to help ease cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Once stable, clients can enter residential care. From there, step-down to partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is offered, allowing clients to gradually build independence while receiving recovery support.

12-Step and Evidence-Based Therapy

The program has a strong 12-step philosophy and incorporates these principles into care plans. Clients that choose extended residential treatment can delve even further into the Twelve Steps. This is combined with evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), as well as trauma-informed counseling. Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions is also woven into programming.

Resort-Style Environment

The Napa Valley campus spans 23 acres, and is located on a hot spring, which is used as a primary water source for showers. Amenities include a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, and a fitness center. Clients can participate in meditation and tai chi. The facility has a flexible technology policy so clients can stay in touch with work and family while receiving care.

Aftercare

Discharge planning begins early in the treatment process, so clients can be confident in their next steps before they leave. Plans are adapted to each client’s needs and can include referrals to outside therapy and sober living. Staff can connect clients to local 12-step meetings, as well as non-12-step meetings such as SMART Recovery or Refuge Recovery.
