Present Moments Recovery offers a structured continuum that starts with withdrawal management (detox), including outpatient detox for people who can safely stabilize while living at home. Clients can then step into residential treatment, day treatment, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care, without having to restart with a new provider at each stage. This continuity supports steadier progress as clients move from early stabilization to rebuilding routines at work, school, and home.

A Home-Like Residential Setting

Care is delivered in a residential environment designed for comfort and day-to-day living. The setting includes shared bedrooms, multiple common areas for groups and downtime, and a full kitchen and dining space that supports community meals. Rooms and amenities like internet access, housekeeping, and comfortable common spaces help clients stay grounded while focusing on treatment. The San Marcos location also keeps clients connected to North County San Diego resources, including recovery meetings and community support.

Integrated Care for Substance Use and Co-Occurring Mental Health Needs

The program treats substance use alongside co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-harm, burnout, and chronic pain. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are part of care when appropriate, including medication support for opioid and alcohol use disorders, along with medication support for mental health conditions. Counseling and recovery education are paired with skills-building to help clients manage cravings, triggers, and everyday stressors.

Recovery Skills, Family Support, and Sober Living Step-Down Options

Treatment includes individual and group counseling, family and couples support, and relapse prevention planning that continues into discharge planning and follow-up.
