The program is residential with 24/7 support and a small-community feel, with cottage-style accommodations and shared spaces that encourage routine, accountability, and connection.
Counseling and Practical Tools for Recovery
Treatment includes individual, group, and family therapy, along with relapse-prevention planning and aftercare preparation. The facility also offers substance use disorder counseling, trauma-related counseling, motivational interviewing, brief intervention, anger management, and 12-step work. For clients who need mental health support alongside substance use care, Serenity Cottages offers services for co-occurring disorders (including co-occurring substance use and serious mental illness in adults), with mental health services and medications for mental disorders as part of care.
Medications and Withdrawal Support
The facility supports medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders as part of recovery planning through in-network or contracted entities. The program also accepts clients using medication treatment for alcohol use disorder when prescribed elsewhere.
