Ocean Recovery offers dedicated men’s and women’s programs designed to create structure, accountability, and trust within a safe peer community. The facility’s beachside location provides a naturally calming environment for reflection and healing. Each residence is intimate and comfortable, offering privacy and proximity to the therapeutic benefits of the Pacific coast.

Integrated Treatment and Wellness

Treatment at Ocean Recovery combines clinical care with wellness-focused living. Programs address substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidality. Clients receive individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, and case management in an environment that also emphasizes daily movement, balanced nutrition, and mindfulness. Apartment-style residences include kitchens, on-site fitness areas, and shared spaces for meals and community-building.

Experiential Programs and Coastal Activities

Ocean Recovery’s daily structure integrates therapy with experiential learning and recreation. Clients participate in activities such as surfing, paddleboarding, hiking, ropes courses, volleyball, and camping, which promote teamwork, confidence, and emotional regulation. These activities mirror real-world recovery skills, helping clients manage stress, practice healthy routines, and reconnect with joy and purpose beyond treatment.

Long-Term Recovery and Alumni Connection

Recovery at Ocean Recovery extends beyond discharge. Clients develop life skills and relapse-prevention strategies through targeted case management and structured peer engagement. Step-down programs, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP), provide continuity of care. A strong alumni network hosts regular events, dinners, and volunteer opportunities, helping individuals stay connected, accountable, and supported in long-term recovery.
