This Newport Beach program is designed to feel more like a comfortable home than a clinical facility, giving clients a calmer place to step away from day-to-day stressors and focus on recovery. Many rooms include private bathrooms, and the residence includes communal living areas, outdoor garden and lounge spaces, and access to fitness. Being close to the beach and nearby outdoor areas can make it easier to build restorative daily habits, from movement to reflection, while still staying grounded in structured care. Meals are provided as part of residential treatment, supporting routine and shared community time.

Residential Treatment That Starts With Assessment and Detox Support

Treatment begins with a thorough intake process that may include medical history and a physical exam, as well as comprehensive substance use and mental health assessments. When needed, the facility offers medically supervised withdrawal management (detox). After stabilization, clients can transition into residential treatment with round-the-clock support.

Evidence-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Medication Support

The clinical approach includes a range of evidence-based therapies and counseling, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, contingency management, and 12-step facilitation. Trauma-informed care is also part of the program, with trauma-related counseling and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) available. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed when needed to help ease cravings and withdrawal symptoms. The program also offers medication support for mental health conditions for clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs.

Practical Supports for Life After Treatment

Planning for what comes next is built into the continuum of care. The facility offers discharge planning, aftercare/continuing care, overdose education and naloxone support, and follow-up after discharge. Additional recovery supports may include peer mentoring, self-help groups, transportation assistance, help connecting to housing and social services, and employment counseling or training. These services can help clients rebuild stability and support systems as they move from structured treatment back into daily life.
