The program uses the Stages of Change model as the foundation of treatment, helping clients move through recovery based on their level of readiness rather than through a single fixed path. Residential care includes frequent individual therapy, family sessions, case management, psychiatric support, physician oversight, and 24/7 nursing. That structure gives clients consistent clinical support while allowing treatment to adapt to their needs over the course of care.

Holistic services include yoga, acupuncture, massage therapy, meditation, personal training, and nutrition in recovery. This blend is designed to address substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions while also helping clients work through trauma, stress, and other underlying drivers of addiction.

Family Support and Step-Down Recovery Planning

Family involvement is woven into treatment through education, support groups, and therapy sessions, helping repair relationships and strengthen the support system clients return to after discharge. Access Malibu also sits within a broader continuum that includes withdrawal management, residential care, outpatient treatment, and sober living options. After residential treatment, clients receive aftercare planning, alumni support, and Discovery365 engagement for one year.
