Women-Only Residential Setting

CLARE Matrix’s Women’s Treatment Program is based on the Pico campus in Santa Monica, offering a women-only residential track designed to provide safety, trust, and community. The program includes up to 90 days of care with 24/7 monitoring. Services feature intensive group therapy, weekly individual sessions, case management, family involvement, and wellness activities. A dedicated program for pregnant and postpartum women provides specialized support for clients and their families.

24/7 Medical Detox and MAT

The facility is one of the few providers on the Westside of Los Angeles offering round-the-clock medical detox services. Care is supported by health screenings and medication management. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine and naltrexone, are available to ease withdrawal and prevent relapse, helping clients begin recovery with greater safety and comfort.

Trauma-Informed, Evidence-Based Care

Treatment integrates trauma-informed practices with evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, the Matrix Model, and 12-step facilitation. Psychiatric services are offered as needed to address mental health needs. The program is equipped to address co-occurring concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger, stress, and suicidality alongside substance use treatment.

Support for Stability and Independence

CLARE Matrix emphasizes recovery that extends beyond residential care. Clients benefit from vocational training, employment assistance, and transportation support, along with referrals for housing, health care, and mental health services. The program also coordinates with probation and parole requirements when needed and offers overdose prevention education. Step-down options, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and outpatient care, provide continuity, while aftercare planning and alumni connections help sustain long-term recovery.
