Medically Supervised Detox in A Hospital Setting
This hospital-based program is focused on detoxification, with most patients staying between three and seven days. Detox services include a medical intake assessment, 24/7 nursing and physician oversight, and medication to manage withdrawal symptoms. Patients participate in structured daily therapy, including individual counseling and group sessions on topics such as coping strategies, anxiety management, boundary setting, and the effects of substance use. Education on naloxone and overdose prevention is also provided before discharge.

Specialized care is available for older adults, and individuals living with HIV or hepatitis C. Patients work with the care team to set individualized treatment goals during their stay.
