Separate, Trauma-Informed Care for Men and Women

The center provides a focused environment for healing, offering gender-specific residential programs that address trauma and its effects. Clients are placed in separate men’s and women’s tracks, which allows for a safer and more supportive space, particularly for those with histories of sexual abuse or domestic violence. Staff are trained in trauma-informed approaches, and the program emphasizes emotional safety, dignity, and trust throughout treatment.

Medical Detox and Dual-Diagnosis Treatment

The center offers on-site, medically supervised detoxification. These services are fully integrated with the residential program, allowing clients to remain in one location throughout their transition from withdrawal to stabilization. Medication for addiction treatment (MAT) is available and supported by a certified opioid treatment program. Clients also receive dual-diagnosis care for co-occurring physical and mental health conditions.

Therapeutic Natural Surroundings

With plenty of forested outdoor space for clients to enjoy, the center offers clients an immersive, natural environment that encourages calm and reflection during treatment. Hiking trails, a basketball court, and a ropes course provide therapeutic recreation. An outdoor gazebo near the pond offers a soothing space for individual or social downtime. An outdoor chapel is also available for those interested in the spiritual aspect of recovery.

Evidence-Based and Holistic Therapies

Treatment combines evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation with experiential and holistic methods such as mindfulness, yoga, art and music therapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, and reiki. The center has dedicated indoor reiki and meditation rooms for clients to enjoy these practices. Life skills training, spiritual support, and relapse prevention planning are integrated into care plans. Family counseling is available for loved ones to join the recovery journey.

Welcoming, Inclusive Environment

Programs are LGBTQIA+ friendly with all-gender bathrooms, staff training, and inclusive housing arrangements. Veterans, young adults, seniors, and clients with co-occurring psychiatric disorders receive trauma-informed support appropriate to their life experiences. Treatment for co-occurring gambling addiction is also provided.
