Transitional Housing with Life Skills Coaching

For clients transitioning out of inpatient care, the facility offers transitional housing paired with ongoing mentorship. This program focuses on practical life skills like cooking, budgeting, resume writing, and even GED or college preparation, to help clients regain independence and stability. Daily routines include group meetings, gym access, and classes that promote healthier habits and self-sufficiency.

Holistic Programming Anchored in Routine

Treatment at Pura Vida includes trauma-informed care, evidence-based therapies, and 12-step facilitation. Beyond traditional therapy, the program integrates yoga, meditation, recreational outings, and fitness activities like CrossFit. Clients also participate in community volunteering and workshops on digital well-being, reinforcing personal responsibility and positive social engagement.

Inclusive Care for Diverse Needs

Pura Vida’s residential program serves adults of all ages, including young adults, seniors, veterans, and active duty military. The program welcomes individuals with co-occurring disorders, histories of trauma, or chronic pain, and provides specialized support for pregnant or postpartum women, clients with HIV, and those involved in the criminal justice system. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are also available as part of care.
