Clients can safely manage withdrawal under medical supervision, then transition into programs focused on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation. Each plan is individualized, ensuring care aligns with a client’s progress and life circumstances.

Residential Setting and Holistic Support

The residential program provides a structured, supportive environment where clients stabilize and rebuild healthy routines. Typical stays last 30 to 90 days and include individual and group counseling, relapse prevention, family participation, and access to spiritual and community-based supports. Residents benefit from clean, comfortable rooms, nutritious meals, daily exercise, and optional faith-based services, all designed to restore wellness and self-direction.

Accessible and Affordable Treatment

As a licensed nonprofit founded in 1974, Pathways prioritizes accessibility and affordability. The center accepts select insurance, private pay, and financing options, with low-cost room and board available for day treatment participants. Clients who complete treatment can attend 52 weeks of relapse prevention groups at no additional cost, reinforcing long-term recovery.

Community Outreach and Transitional Housing

Pathways extends its mission beyond treatment through prevention and education programs across Yuba and Sutter Counties. These include DUI education, youth life-skills workshops, and Narcan distribution. Its on-campus transitional housing offers safe, short-term accommodations for those completing treatment and working toward stable housing and employment. This bridge between treatment and independence reduces relapse risk and supports sustained recovery.
