Flexible outpatient care designed to meet each client’s needs

HealthRIGHT 360’s San Francisco Adult Outpatient Services offers low-, moderate-, and high-threshold treatment tracks to help meet the needs of each client. Coming into the program, each client is paired with a care coordinator, who they work with collaboratively to develop a 90-day treatment plan around their goals and needs. The program accepts walk-ins, referrals from agencies, and people who are stepping down from residential treatment.

Treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions

Standard outpatient and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) support clients with substance use disorders, mental health concerns, or co-occurring conditions. Scheduling is flexible, with day and evening groups available. Clients may participate in various types of programming, including trauma-informed programming, individual and group therapy, and psychiatric services. Multiple therapeutic approaches may be used, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), contingency management, and 12-Step facilitation.

Practical support for real-life challenges

Clients can also get support for real-life challenges that can impact their ability to stay engaged in recovery. This may include housing services, transportation assistance, peer mentoring, and connections with social services. Case managers may also help with employment, food, legal needs, family services, and finding housing.

Inclusive care with LGBTQ+ practices

Programs at HealthRIGHT 360 are gender-responsive and welcome people of any gender identity. LGBTQ+ practices and support include using preferred pronouns, all-gender bathrooms, and nondiscrimination policies that cover sexual orientation and gender identity. Staff receive training on LGBTQ+ health needs, and families are welcome to participate in treatment and recreational activities when possible.

A broader focus on health alongside treatment

Clients can receive screenings for physical health concerns, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections, and tuberculosis. Integrated primary care services are offered, along with naloxone, overdose education, and health education.
