Family-Inclusive Residential Care in a Foothill Setting

Located on a multi-acre campus in Grass Valley, this inpatient and residential program offers a calm, grounded setting designed to support focus and routine during treatment. Outdoor walking areas and access to open space are built into daily life on campus, giving clients room to step away from distractions while maintaining a steady, structured schedule. Residential housing is gender-specific, helping create clear boundaries and a sense of safety.

Medically Supervised Treatment With Clear Next Steps

Treatment includes withdrawal management (detox) alongside residential programming, with access to medical and psychiatric providers as part of care. Each client completes a comprehensive assessment at intake, which guides treatment planning and length of stay. Discharge planning and continuing care are integrated into the program, with outcome follow-up after discharge and overdose education, including naloxone education, to support safer transitions after residential treatment.

Support for Parents and Families

One of the defining features of this campus is its ability to support parents during treatment. The women’s residential program allows children up to age 12 to live on site with their parent, with childcare provided by trained staff. Family involvement and reunification support may be incorporated when clinically appropriate, helping parents remain engaged in care without needing to separate from their children during residential treatment.

Practical Services That Reduce Barriers to Recovery

Clients have access to case management and care coordination, along with recovery services such as peer support, mentoring, housing assistance, and help navigating social services. Meals, nutrition support, recreation, and light exercise are included as part of residential care. Transportation assistance is available for appointments, and telemedicine services offer additional flexibility. The program also supports individuals who are using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when prescribed by an external provider, helping maintain continuity of care.
