Residential substance use treatment for people who need medical support

The Gaudenzia Together House Short Term program provides substance use services for adults with co-occurring medical or mental health challenges who require a higher level of care but do not need hospitalization. Mental health services, integrated primary care, and suicide prevention services are provided. The facility uses a trauma- and culture-informed approach that also includes gender-specific care to address substance use, mental health, and medical needs together.

Medication options alongside residential treatment

MAT is offered to help clients manage withdrawal and cravings while focusing on treatment. Options may include buprenorphine and naltrexone, with both oral and extended-release injectable options available. The program can also accommodate clients who are receiving medications from outside providers, so they can enter residential treatment without having to discontinue medication-based addiction care that may already be helping.

Practical supports connect recovery with everyday stability

Case management helps connect clients with practical services that can help them build stability outside of treatment. This may include employment counseling or training and transportation assistance, as well as educational and vocational support. Discharge planning and ongoing follow-ups after discharge can help clients address needs that arise beyond residential treatment.

A larger recovery network for continuing community

An alumni association helps keep former clients connected to the Gaudenzia community for continued encouragement and personal growth after residential treatment ends. Clients who value ongoing peer connections can continue to receive support as they transition back into everyday life.
