The program is tailored exclusively to women, including those who are pregnant or postpartum. Gender-specific groups create space to explore experiences like trauma, relationships, and parenting in a supportive, peer-based setting. This approach fosters safety and trust, allowing many women to feel more comfortable engaging openly in treatment. Care plans acknowledge how substance use, mental health, and recovery can uniquely affect women, and emphasizes empowerment and long-term healing.

Detox and Residential Care in One Location

The center offers medically supervised detoxification services which are fully integrated with the residential program, allowing women to remain in one location throughout their transition from withdrawal to stabilization. Along with evidence-based and holistic therapies, medication for addiction treatment (MAT) is available, including a certified opioid treatment program. Clients also receive dual-diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health conditions.

12-Step Foundation and Spiritual Focus

Daily schedules integrate 12-step principles through on-site Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings and group discussions rooted in spiritual reflection and accountability. Women are introduced to core 12-step principles like surrender, inventory, and amends, which provide structure and purpose during early recovery. For many, the spiritual framework supports personal growth and connection, especially when navigating guilt, trauma, or loss. Staff encourage participation while respecting individual beliefs, helping clients build their own path to recovery.

Aftercare Plans and Life Skills Education

Staff help clients prepare for long-term recovery through discharge planning and practical skill-building. Dedicated case managers help coordinate aftercare services, including outpatient therapy, housing referrals, and peer support connections. Life skills groups teach essential routines like meal planning, budgeting, and effective communication to support daily stability after treatment. Relapse prevention counseling reinforces coping strategies and helps women identify personal triggers to reduce the risk of setbacks. Staff can also provide connections to local 12-step support groups.
