Detox and Residential Care in One Location

We Level Up combines medically supervised withdrawal management (detox) and residential treatment on a single campus. Adults can begin care with 24/7 monitoring, then move directly into residential programming without changing facilities. Typical stays of 45 days or longer allow time to stabilize and practice new skills.

Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders

This facility is designed for people living with both substance use disorders and mental health concerns. Clinicians address mood, anxiety, trauma-related, personality, attention, and pain-related conditions, as well as grief and self-harm, alongside substance use. Treatment draws on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step work. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are available when appropriate, along with medication management for mental health conditions.

Holistic Daily Schedule and Comfort-Focused Setting

Clients live in a modern residential environment with air-conditioned private rooms, en suite bathrooms, and in-room televisions. Shared indoor spaces, a recreation room, and access to nature with gardens and an outdoor lounge provide places to connect or decompress between groups. A chef-managed commercial kitchen prepares nutritionally focused meals. Daily schedules blend individual, group, and family counseling with mindfulness and meditation, yoga, experiential and expressive therapies such as art, music, and psychodrama, and recreation like fitness sessions, basketball, volleyball, and games. Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas.

Support for Diverse Populations, Family, and Real-Life Needs

Programming serves adults including veterans, military families, and pregnant or postpartum women. The center also has specialized tracks for people with trauma histories, including intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, HIV or AIDS, and co-occurring pain and substance use. Family counseling, family dynamics groups, and dedicated family support programming help loved ones understand substance use and rebuild communication. Case management, housing and employment support, recovery coaching, mentoring and peer support, and transportation assistance help reduce practical barriers.

Planning for Life After Treatment

Before discharge, staff work with clients on aftercare and relapse prevention planning, including connections to outpatient services, local therapists, and community-based 12-step and other self-help groups. Education on overdose risks and naloxone is built into transitional services. Alumni programming, recovery coaching, and contact after discharge help people stay connected to peers and support. Groups on coping skills, self-esteem, emotional de-escalation, and practical workshops are designed to support returning to work, school, caregiving, and community roles with a realistic plan for ongoing recovery.

Client Reviews

Recent client and family reviews describe strong support from staff, meaningful groups, and solid recovery foundations. Some point to concerns about communication, discharge planning, and how the program sets expectations around length of stay.

  • Staff & Care Experience (85% positive): Reviewers overwhelmingly describe techs, nurses, and therapists as compassionate, relatable, and willing to go above and beyond. Some mention that teams can feel stretched thin or inconsistent during busier periods. "The staff truly care about your recovery and make you feel supported every step of the way."
  • Treatment Quality & Outcomes (75% positive): Many clients credit the program with improving their lives and providing tools for early recovery, while some feel care is too focused on detox or doesn’t fully address mental health. "This place changed my life. They gave me a solid foundation to start my path of recovery."
  • Facility & Environment (70% positive): Reviews often highlight a clean facility, comfortable rooms, and consistently praised meals, though some note that amenities, outdoor spaces, or photos do not always match the on-site experience. "The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the accommodations make you feel at home."
  • Access & Process (40% positive): Feedback on admissions, paperwork, and discharge is mixed: some value frequent check-ins and help with logistics, while others report confusing expectations, difficulty reaching staff, or feeling pressured around length of stay and insurance decisions. "Facility was quick and compassionate in response to my grandmother passing."
  • Support & Community (80% positive): Many describe a strong peer community, alumni outreach, and groups that make people feel safe, hopeful, and less alone. A few reviewers wish follow-up support and communication were more consistent. "I felt like I had a whole family cheering me on."
