Men-Only Treatment Environment

The center is exclusively dedicated to the recovery needs of adult men, providing a space designed to encourage accountability and brotherhood. The program supports men facing a wide range of challenges, including chronic relapse, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Peer leadership and group involvement play a central role, encouraging residents to support one another in rebuilding trust and forming healthy relationships within a community of shared experience.

Community and Peer Mentorship

The program uses a social model rooted in 12-step principles. Residents live in a structured, communal environment where peer connection and mutual accountability are key components of recovery. Group counseling, daily chores, and peer leadership roles create a shared sense of responsibility and belonging. The program emphasizes personal growth and self-sufficiency, offering a supportive space for men who may have struggled with isolation, homelessness, or chronic relapse.

Veteran-Focused Residential Recovery

The center’s client population includes a significant number of military veterans. As one of the few facilities in the region contracted by Veterans Affairs (VA), the program is equipped to support men with service-related trauma and disabilities. The facility offers transportation assistance to help veterans access off-site medical and therapy appointments. More than 40% of residents are veterans, many of whom receive case management and coordination with VA services.

Individualized, Evidence-Based Care

Each resident receives a customized treatment plan developed with a counselor, incorporating evidence-based therapy, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention. Specialized services are available for men with co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or anxiety. Additional support includes anger management, family counseling, and health education, alongside holistic practices like yoga and mindfulness.

Vocational and Life Skills Support

The center supports residents’ long-term recovery through practical, skills-based programming. Vocational training, job readiness, and financial literacy are woven into the treatment model, helping residents transition toward stable employment and independence. A sober living apartment across the street provides continuing care for men who need extended structure after completing the residential phase.
