Residential Care with Trauma-Informed Support

The center provides 24/7 high-intensity residential treatment in a safe setting. Each client receives an individualized care plan that addresses substance use alongside trauma, mental health, and family needs. Care includes daily group therapy, individual counseling, and education sessions focused on coping skills and relapse prevention. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available on-site for clients with existing prescriptions to help manage withdrawal symptoms. The trauma-informed approach ensures that therapy is sensitive to past experiences.

Priority Admissions for High-Risk Clients

Priority admission is available for pregnant clients, individuals who use substances by injection, overdose survivors, and veterans. This approach ensures that those facing the highest immediate health risks can access care without delay. Pregnant clients receive integrated prenatal support. Those who inject drugs are connected to testing and treatment for infections such as HIV and hepatitis. Overdose survivors are offered rapid entry into residential care to reduce the risk of recurrence. Veterans benefit from services adapted to their lived experience.

Housing, Employment Assistance, and Community Connections

Care staff can help clients access housing services, from emergency shelter referrals to connections with long-term, stable housing programs. Employment counseling includes résumé preparation, job search assistance, and interview skills training. Educational support may cover GED preparation or enrollment in vocational training. Staff also link clients to medical care and legal resources when needed. These practical supports combined with peer mentoring and referrals to outpatient care equip clients with the tools and connections they need to continue progress after leaving residential treatment.

Accessible, Nonprofit Care

As a private nonprofit, the center is committed to removing financial and logistical barriers to treatment. Staff work directly with clients to secure available funding or coverage. For those without transportation, the program can arrange rides to and from the facility. Admission coordinators guide each client through paperwork and eligibility requirements to simplify what can be an overwhelming process. This hands-on approach allows more clients, especially those in crisis or with limited resources, to begin treatment quickly and focus on recovery.
