Men-Only Residential Care

Cole House offers both short-term and long-term residential stays in a substance-free setting. Clients live on site with 24-hour supervision and clear house expectations that support safety and accountability. For many men, this combination of consistent structure and stable housing makes it easier to focus on recovery instead of day-to-day survival.

Counseling, Groups, and 12-Step Support

Treatment includes a mix of individual counseling, group counseling, and family education. Core approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, anger management, and relapse prevention. Substance use counseling is paired with 12-step work, self-help groups, and individual sponsorship, helping men build a recovery network they can stay connected to after leaving the program.

Life Skills, Employment Support, and Practical Resources

A major focus of Cole House is preparing men to rebuild their lives outside the program. Clients work on social and life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and daily living routines. Job readiness training, vocational support, and employment counseling help men prepare for work or reenter the workforce. Case management connects clients with housing services, social-service benefits, and other community resources. Transportation is available.

Support for Co-Occurring Needs and Ongoing Recovery

The program serves men with substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health concerns or trauma histories. Clients receive comprehensive substance use assessments, screenings, and health education. Men who already receive medications for addiction treatment (MAT) or alcohol use disorder from outside prescribers can continue these medications while in care. Language services are offered in English, Arabic, and Hindi. Discharge planning, aftercare and continuing care, and outcome follow-up support clients as they transition out of residential treatment and work to maintain recovery over time.
