A Women-Only Space for Safety and Healing

The program is designed exclusively for women who are rebuilding their lives in recovery. The private, non-profit facility offers a community-style setting that combines stability and structure. Living arrangements include semi-private rooms and shared spaces, with daily meals and a recreation area on site. The program provides a supportive environment where women can focus on recovery without distractions, building trust and connections with peers who share similar challenges. The women-only setting emphasizes emotional safety and mutual encouragement during the recovery process.

Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered Approach

A trauma-informed model shapes every aspect of care, recognizing the lasting impact of trauma on substance use and recovery. The program emphasizes five guiding principles: safety, trust, empowerment, choice, and collaboration. Women participate in both group and one-on-one counseling sessions that incorporate evidence-based approaches and 12-step facilitation. Specialized counseling addresses anger management, trauma-related issues, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Each resident helps define her own recovery goals.

Preparing for Life After Treatment

Reintegration services are designed to help women move beyond treatment and gain independence in daily life. Staff work with women to create discharge plans that include relapse-prevention strategies, overdose education, and naloxone training. The program connects women to outpatient substance use and mental health providers, as well as primary and specialty medical care. Residents also receive support in education and job readiness, including vocational training, employment counseling, and workshops on practical skills such as budgeting and communication.

A Structured, Recovery-Focused Community

As part of the daily schedule, women participate in self-help groups, life-skills education, and therapeutic group activities. The length of stay varies based on individual needs and may range from a few weeks to several months. Women who are prescribed medications for addiction treatment (MAT) by outside providers can continue them while enrolled. Through shared living, daily routines, and peer accountability, the program strives to create a strong sense of community.
