Transitional Housing for Men in Recovery

The facility provides a safe, supportive environment for adult men transitioning from treatment into independent living. Evidence-based therapy is blended with opportunities for employment, education, and personal development. Most clients stay for about 90 days. During that time, men are encouraged to take on real-world responsibilities while continuing to engage in group therapy, relapse prevention, and recovery-oriented community activities.

Integrated Mental Health Care

Care is offered for men managing both substance use and mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Staff help clients recognize how these conditions may influence their recovery and offer practical tools to manage symptoms in daily life. Group sessions create space for shared experiences, while one-on-one support focuses on building emotional regulation and resilience.

12-Step Integration and Peer Support

Clients participate in daily 12-step-based meetings, both on-site and in the community, as part of their recovery plans. These meetings offer a familiar, peer-led framework where men can share experiences, build accountability, and strengthen their commitment to substance-free living. The program encourages active engagement with sponsors and the working of steps. It also offers a support network men can rely on after leaving the facility.

Life Skills and Employment Training

The program emphasizes vocational readiness and provides life skills training. Clients receive hands-on help with resume writing, job searching, and housing planning, as well as education in areas like nutrition and financial literacy. Spiritual education is also available for men who are interested in this pathway.

MAT Continuation

The program supports individuals with existing prescriptions for medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine and naltrexone. For men interested in beginning MAT after their stay, the facility offers education and can coordinate aftercare referrals, helping to secure long-term health support.

Services for Veterans and Justice-Involved Clients

Adapted care plans are offered for veterans, individuals with criminal justice involvement, and men with histories of trauma. Through case management and trauma-informed counseling, men are connected to services needed for their specific life circumstances while building relationships within a recovery-focused peer community.
