Nature-Rich Setting with Clinical Support
A Wildwood Recovery’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) blends access to structured clinical care with the peace of a natural environment. The facility offers a lower-intensity option for people who no longer need 24/7 supervision but still want meaningful therapeutic support, whether transitioning from residential treatment or starting recovery while managing home or work responsibilities.
Trauma-Focused Dual Diagnosis Care
Wildwood’s IOP supports individuals dealing with both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Each client receives an individualized plan that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and specialized trauma treatments such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) or brainspotting. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are also available for alcohol and opioid use disorders.
Holistic Therapies to Build Balance
To help clients strengthen self-regulation and reduce stress, the IOP incorporates holistic options like yoga, mindfulness, nutrition education, and fitness coaching. These offerings are integrated into therapy rather than treated as add-ons, creating a well-rounded path to recovery that supports emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Equine therapy and expressive arts are also available, giving clients alternative ways to process experiences and foster personal growth.
Emphasis on Family and Community
Family therapy is a core part of Wildwood’s approach, offering structured opportunities to rebuild trust and improve communication. Clients also benefit from group sessions and peer interaction, which promote connection and accountability during a time of change. This balance of individual and shared work supports long-term stability and resilience after treatment ends.
Skills and Support for the Next Step
Recovery at Wildwood includes practical preparation for daily life. The IOP helps clients build routines, manage triggers, and plan for ongoing care. Whether continuing therapy, joining peer groups, or stepping into a sober living arrangement, clients leave the program with tools and strategies tailored to their specific goals and challenges.
