Integrated Detox and Residential Treatment

UConnectCare Inc – SRR offers medically supervised detox and 24-hour residential care in a setting that blends clinical structure with compassionate support. Treatment combines evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed counseling with medications for addiction treatment (MAT) including buprenorphine and naltrexone. Clients receive comprehensive care for substance use and co-occurring conditions in an environment designed to promote safety, healing, and long-term recovery.

Distinctive, Home-Like Settings

UConnectCare’s Atwater Community Residence for men provides shared living within an historic home featuring communal dining, a kitchen, laundry facilities, and balanced daily meals. Residents engage in in-house therapy, group work, and meaningful off-site activities such as volunteer work or vocational training. The Women & Children’s Center in Albion offers a peaceful, wooded retreat where women, some with young children, can begin recovery surrounded by nature and consistent professional support.

Transition and Long-Term Stability

Beyond initial treatment, UConnectCare provides supportive living apartments and transitional services to help individuals sustain recovery. Case management, job readiness training, and peer mentoring build life skills and confidence for independent living. Housing support and access to social services further reduce barriers that often disrupt post-treatment stability, allowing clients to continue recovery close to their local support systems.

Mission and Community Commitment

For nearly 50 years, UConnectCare has served Western New York as a nonprofit organization guided by compassion, integrity, and dedication to community wellness. Its programs reflect a belief that recovery requires both clinical care and social connection. By combining structured treatment, vocational pathways, and long-term housing support, UConnectCare empowers people to restore health, purpose, and self-sufficiency within a caring community.
