Holistic Residential Care
The center offers 24/7 residential treatment for adults and young adults living with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. The four-phase program is grounded in the belief that recovery means healing every dimension of a person — physical, emotional, intellectual, social, vocational, and spiritual. Clients live on site in private or shared, air-conditioned rooms with access to a kitchenette and designated smoking areas. The environment emphasizes daily routines and group activities that support ongoing, long-term recovery.
Medically Supported Detox and Health Services
Many clients begin treatment with medically supervised withdrawal management (detox). Medical staff routinely use medication to manage withdrawal symptoms and monitor safety. Ongoing care may include medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders, as well as medications for mental health conditions. Clients receive overdose education, naloxone training, and support around tobacco use and smoking cessation when desired.
Therapies, Groups, and Experiential Programming
Treatment draws on multiple evidence-based therapies combined with experiential options. Core approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), anger management, relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, and 12-step work. Individual, group, family, and couples counseling are part of most treatment plans. Art programming uses creative activities like drawing and painting to help people express and explore difficult emotions. Equine therapy involves guided interaction with horses, designed to build responsibility, patience, and confidence.
Focus on Co-Occurring Needs and Trauma
The program is designed for adults with substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions, chronic pain, or behavioral addictions such as gambling. Resolutions serves young adults, women, men, and older adults, as well as veterans, active-duty military, and members of military families. Specialized services support people who have experienced sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, or other trauma. The team also works with justice-involved clients and people living with HIV or AIDS.
Life Skills Training and Aftercare
Beyond therapy, the center offers case management, housing services, employment counseling and job training, social skills development, and help accessing social services. Recovery coaches, mentoring, self-help groups, and alumni events provide ongoing connection after discharge. Transportation assistance is offered to help clients get to care and follow-up appointments.
