Compass Intervention Center - Memphis
Overview
Facility providing age-specific treatment programs for children, preteens, and teens with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, behavioral challenges, and substance use concerns. The Acute Adolescent Program, for teens ages 12–17, offers inpatient treatment for a range of conditions. Assessment and referral to this program are available 24/7. Additional residential programs for children and adolescents address psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions, with 24-hour nursing care and therapeutic programming that includes individual, group, and family therapy. Education is integrated into care so students do not fall behind; every client is enrolled in the on-site Compass Academy. Outpatient programs, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP), are also available, and virtual treatment options may be offered. Families are encouraged to play an active role in the recovery process. This is the only facility in Tennessee that offers programs for adolescents at every level of care.
