Who is this facility a good fit for?
- Best fit if: Adults who need a residential level of care; may need detox before residential treatment; may benefit from stepping down through multiple levels of care at the same facility; are seeking treatment for substance use, mental health concerns, or both; prefer several group sessions, individual therapy, and time to decompress each day; and want access to amenities during their residential stay.
- Not a fit if: Adults who want unrestricted access to electronic devices in shared spaces and are looking for a self-directed residential experience.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Assessment and planning: Prior to admission, clients undergo a prescreening and a pre-assessment followed by a clinical evaluation. The findings are combined with each client's concerns and goals to develop an individualized treatment plan. An assigned master’s-level therapist tailors the plan, and clients are given a customized schedule when they arrive at the facility.
- Client and family involvement: Clients are active participants in the development of their care plans. Additionally, their family members or loved ones can contribute when the client chooses to involve them and signs a release.
Who you will meet with
- Therapy and medical care: Each client works regularly with a master’s-level therapist who tailors the individual treatment plan. Licensed group facilitators lead group programs. Clients also work with an on-site licensed psychiatrist who provides psychiatric care and medication management. Nurse practitioners and other medical providers support clients with their medical needs.
- Daily and practical support: Behavioral health technicians are available to support clients 24 hours a day, and case managers help clients with practical needs beyond recovery.
Typical schedule
- Daily programming: Days typically begin with breakfast followed by one or two group therapy sessions. After lunch, clients attend an additional one or two groups. Individual therapy, medication management, and other appointments are included based on each client’s needs. These may take the place of a group session at times. Primary programming typically ends around 4 p.m.
- Treatment approaches: Care may include individual, group, and family therapy, in addition to medication management and medications for addiction treatment (MAT). Evidence-based therapies may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Clients may also receive trauma-focused therapies, experiential therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and psychoeducation.
- Downtime and evening activities: Decompressing, socializing, exercising, or using the facility’s amenities can take place in the late afternoon. Some evenings may include recovery meetings, alumni guest speakers, or community meetings.
Living experiences and amenities
- Meals and amenities: Three catered meals per day are provided, in addition to laundry and housekeeping services. Amenities may include a gym, game room and arcade, movie theater, and barber or beautician services.
- Electronics policy: Camera-equipped electronics are typically restricted in shared spaces to protect clients' privacy.
Aftercare
- Continuing care and alumni support: Near the end of residential treatment, staff work with clients to develop a formal plan for post-treatment. Depending on their needs, clients may transition through outpatient programming and later continue with individual therapy or psychiatric check-ins. Clients are automatically entered into the alumni program after completing formal treatment. This may include continued check-ins that help them maintain connections to recovery resources.
- Transportation assistance: Travel coordination may help clients traveling for treatment through transportation assistance and airport pickup or drop-off.

Quality and Trust
Trust Score
A simple A–E grade that offers a quick view of how much confidence you might place in a facility. It’s not a guarantee of quality or outcomes, but a data-informed tool to help guide your search. More on our methodology.
The Joint Commission
The Joint Commission is one of the most trusted names in healthcare. If a rehab center has this accreditation, it means they meet strong national standards for safety, treatment quality, and staff training.
Learn moreHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.
