Long-Term Residential Care with Priority Admissions
The center is designed for clients who need a longer, more structured stay than typical 30–90 day rehab. Most clients entering the program commit to six months to one year. Admissions begin with a personal letter describing substance use history, legal/medical background, and why a 6 or 12-month stay is desired. The Intake Coordinator then screens for eligibility. Pregnant women and people who use injectable drugs receive priority admission.
Phased Treatment Model
Care starts with an intensive 5–6 week phase centered on individual counseling, full-day therapy groups, and evening 12-step meetings. Education covers abstinence, relapse prevention, anger management, and processing emotions. Medical, dental, and vision referrals can be provided as needed. Clients using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) prescribed elsewhere are accepted, and evidence-based therapy and trauma-informed counseling are central to care. Mental health services are integrated into treatment.
Work Therapy Program and Educational Support
A defining feature of the center’s approach is the Work Therapy Program. After the intensive first phase of treatment and a job-readiness assessment, clients can step into paid partner placements aligned to abilities and interests. Examples include pallet jack and forklift operation, auto body/detail, customer service, security, merchandising, landscaping, and meal preparation. Alongside work, clients can access GED classes and vocational training/coaching.
Amenities and Services
Clients stay in furnished residential suites with private bathrooms and enjoy shared areas including a bright atrium, fitness area, outdoor patio, basketball court, and picnic space. Healthy meals are provided. Practical supports include transportation assistance and case management. The environment promotes accountability, mutual respect, and peer support throughout daily routines.
Aftercare and Transitional Housing
Discharge planning begins early and carries into aftercare. Plans typically include employment goals, a sponsor and ongoing 12-step and community meetings, peer support, and access to medical and mental health care. For graduates at risk of homelessness, the Transitional Housing Program offers sober living focused on employment, financial independence, and family reunification. Ongoing recovery support includes alumni groups, recovery coaching, self-help groups, and outcome follow-ups.
