Integrated Treatment in an Urban Setting

AGS Programs LLC offers outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs in Baltimore for people managing substance use and mental health challenges. Clients receive counseling, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management through the facility’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Care is designed to fit into daily life, allowing clients to stay connected to work, school, and family while participating in treatment.

Rehabilitation and Supportive Housing

The facility’s psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP) focuses on building life and social skills that help clients live more independently. Both adolescents and adults benefit from training in daily routines, wellness self-management, and employment readiness. For added stability, AGS offers low-intensity housing with features such as private bathrooms and outdoor space, creating a safe and structured environment that reduces relapse risk while encouraging independence.

Specialized Programs and Therapies

AGS uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma counseling, relapse prevention, and the Matrix Model. The center also provides a DUI/DWI education track and supports diverse populations including veterans, pregnant and postpartum women, older adults, people with HIV/AIDS, trauma survivors, and justice-involved clients. Telehealth expands access to care, and services include individual, family, and group therapy to reinforce recovery through supportive relationships.

Community Commitment and Accessibility

With a mission to improve behavioral health in Baltimore and surrounding communities, AGS extends treatment through aftercare planning, naloxone education, outcome follow-up, and connections to peer mentoring, housing resources, and employment counseling. The organization is CARF-accredited and licensed by the state, accepting Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and self-payment. A sliding fee scale is available to reduce financial barriers and make treatment more accessible.
