Intimate Recovery Community for Men

The Orangevale house accommodates no more than six men in semi-private rooms, creating space for connection while reducing isolation. The living spaces are designed for comfort, featuring full kitchens, private backyards, and shared meals that foster community. This setting helps clients build trust, reestablish healthy routines, and experience a sense of belonging, all key for sustained recovery.

Integrated Healing for Indigenous Clients

The Indigenous program blends traditional healing practices with modern therapies in a culturally responsive setting. Clients are encouraged to practice their own spiritual and cultural traditions, with support for native languages and teachings. Staff receive training from culturally knowledgeable practitioners to ensure care is respectful, inclusive, and community-centered. This track recognizes the unique historical and intergenerational trauma experienced by Indigenous communities and creates space for connection, identity, and resilience throughout recovery.

Specialized Care for Veterans and Active Duty Military

Clients live and heal together as a cohesive unit, fostering peer connection and shared understanding. The program is led by a Veteran and master’s-level therapist who brings lived experience to the clinical setting. This shared background builds trust and helps clients feel seen and understood—an essential foundation for engaging in meaningful, lasting recovery.

Experiential Therapy and Nature-Based Activities

Clients have opportunities to engage in experiential therapies that connect recovery with real-life skills and coping strategies. Outdoor therapy groups and nature-based outings are a regular part of programming, and equine-assisted therapy sessions provide unique opportunities for emotional growth and relationship-building. Other holistic therapies can include yoga, massage, acupuncture, reiki, Tai Chi, and more. These activities support stress reduction and self-awareness, which can be critical in early recovery.

Strong Alumni Network and Ongoing Support

Weekly groups provide a safe and familiar space where former clients can speak openly about challenges, triggers, or setbacks without fear of judgment. These gatherings foster mutual accountability and connection, helping participants maintain focus on recovery goals. Alumni also have access to a dedicated mobile app that allows them to stay in touch with peers, celebrate sobriety milestones, and participate in a wider recovery community. This continuous engagement helps reduce isolation and reinforces long-term healing through shared experience and sustained support.

What Clients Say

Patient feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Clients frequently describe the staff as compassionate and deeply committed, often crediting specific team members with playing key roles in their recovery. Many mention the comfort of the setting, the quality of meals from the in-house chef, and the power of reconnecting with nature through outdoor therapy. Alumni also highlight the value of post-treatment support in maintaining sobriety and building a new life.
