Small, Gender-Specific Homes in a Residential Neighborhood

Buddy’s Ranch operates separate men’s and women’s houses located in quiet residential neighborhoods. Each home is limited to a small group size, creating a smaller, more personal environment that emphasizes routine, stability, and shared responsibility. Accommodations include private and shared bedroom options, private bathrooms, indoor common areas, and maintained outdoor spaces such as yards and gardens. This environment allows clients to build closer peer connections while still having space for privacy and reflection during treatment.

A Full Continuum From Detox to Outpatient Care

The facility offers multiple levels of care to support people at different stages of recovery. Services include medically supervised withdrawal management, short-term residential treatment, and outpatient programming, including an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and telehealth options. This structure allows individuals to begin treatment in a highly supported, 24-hour setting and later transition into outpatient care as stability increases.

Evidence-Based Therapy and Holistic Practices

Treatment is built around evidence-based therapeutic approaches delivered through individual, group, and family counseling. Methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, and 12-step options are integrated into weekly schedules. These are paired with holistic practices — including mindfulness training, meditation, yoga, breathwork, art therapy, and physical wellness activities — to address emotional regulation, stress, and overall well-being.

Integrated Support for Mental Health and Co-Occurring Needs

Programs treat substance use disorders alongside mental health conditions. Comprehensive assessments, mental health screenings, and ongoing counseling help guide individualized treatment planning. The program also supports people from a wide range of populations, including young adults, older adults, veterans and active-duty military members, pregnant or postpartum women, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, allowing services to be adapted to different life circumstances and clinical needs.

Aftercare Planning and Practical Recovery Supports

The center provides discharge planning and continuing care coordination to help clients maintain progress once they leave residential or outpatient treatment. Recovery support services may include peer mentoring, recovery coaching, self-help groups, housing assistance, help accessing social services, employment counseling or training, and overdose education.
