Accessible and Affordable for Kent County’s Most Vulnerable

To ensure care is within reach, the program accepts Medical Assistance, uninsured funding for those with Medicare, and self-pay options. Admissions are open through referral, phone, or walk-in during designated hours, with beds available on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority admission is given to expectant mothers, reflecting the center’s commitment to serving individuals in especially vulnerable situations.

Specialized Care for Opioid and Stimulant Stabilization

Through a SAMHSA State Opioid Response grant, the center offers 12 crisis stabilization beds for individuals in acute crisis from opioid or stimulant use. These services focus on short-term stabilization for up to four days before transferring to another level of care or to discharge planning. Clients have the option to begin medications for opioid use disorder during their stay.

Structured Inpatient Program

Care begins with a medical assessment and psychiatric evaluation, followed by a personalized plan that may include clinical services, medications for addiction treatment (MAT), individual and group therapy, relapse prevention groups, and gender-specific programming. Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed through integrated treatment, with options like grief counseling and trauma-informed care.
