Medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, are combined with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation. This integrated approach addresses both substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, giving people the tools to stabilize and move forward in recovery.
Around-the-Clock Crisis Intervention
The facility operates comprehensive crisis services, including a Crisis Stabilization Unit, a 23-hour observation and sobering unit, and emergency response with risk assessment and safety planning. Psychiatric urgent care for adults and youth provides same-day access to providers and medications, while Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) bring in-home support to families with young people in crisis. These services ensure immediate help is available whenever it is needed.
Gambling, Maternal Health, and Recovery Supports
Beyond core treatment, Zepf Center offers a Gambling Treatment Program available in person and via telehealth, as well as tailored services for pregnant and postpartum individuals, trauma survivors, and justice-involved clients. Recovery supports include housing assistance, employment counseling and training, peer mentoring, recovery coaching, naloxone education, and aftercare planning. These programs connect treatment with practical tools for long-term stability.
Integrated Primary Care and Youth Shelter Services
Zepf Center integrates behavioral health with physical health by offering primary care, OB/GYN services, lab testing, and an on-site pharmacy. The Safety Net program provides Northwest Ohio’s only 24/7 shelter for runaway and homeless youth, along with a drop-in center offering meals, showers, laundry, and access to community resources.
