12-Step Foundation and Evidence-Based Care

Treatment is grounded in a strong 12-step foundation, integrating peer support and spiritual principles with evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused counseling. This combination supports both emotional healing and long-term accountability. Comprehensive assessments, including mental health evaluations, physical exams, and lab testing, guide staff in developing personalized care plans. Ongoing clinical tracking ensures care remains responsive to each client’s progress throughout their stay.

Patriot Support Program for Veterans and Active Military

The Patriot Support Program offers a 28-day residential treatment program tailored for active-duty service members and veterans facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The program integrates evidence-based therapies within a 12-step framework. Specialized services address military-specific issues like deployment stress, combat trauma, and adjustment to civilian life. Additional support includes family and couples counseling, physical conditioning programs, and transportation assistance to regional bases and VA facilities.

Inclusive Treatment for Underserved Populations

The center offers dedicated support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, trauma survivors, and clients living with HIV/AIDS. Staff are trained in culturally responsive care, and treatment includes trauma-informed therapies adapted to lived experiences of discrimination, violence, and stigma. The center displays non-discrimination policies and uses inclusive intake forms and materials. Clients with HIV/AIDS receive coordinated care that integrates physical and mental health along with substance use treatment. This environment creates a sense of safety and belonging for those often marginalized in traditional treatment settings.

Comprehensive Aftercare Planning

Clients receive practical tools for long-term stability through a wide range of recovery support services. These include job readiness training, GED education, and legal aid when needed depending on individual circumstances. Case managers assist with housing applications, food assistance, and navigating insurance. Guidance is also provided to help clients apply for state and federal benefits. Family and couples counseling are offered to help rebuild connections and support healing at home.
