Focused Support for Diverse Communities

Whether someone is looking for therapy, psychiatric care, or peer support, culturally informed treatment is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel respected, safe, and understood. Programs like The Empowerment Project offer affirming support for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults. Others, like PACT and Project HOPE, focus on those involved with the justice system and need more than just a clinical appointment to move forward. This clinic also offers services in English and Spanish language.

Getting Help When It’s Urgently Needed

Same-day mental health and addiction services, walk-in urgent care, and 24/7 mobile crisis response for adults and youth are available at this clinic. The Living Room program provides a calm, peer-led space for people in emotional distress, helping many avoid the emergency room altogether. For adults who need more support than outpatient care can offer, short-term residential stabilization is available, with built-in follow-up planning. Across all programs, the goal is to reduce wait times and help people get the right care, right away.

Strengthening Families and Communities

The Center for Development offers therapy and skill-building for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Parenting support is available through home-visiting services for families with infants and young children under stress. Adults returning from psychiatric hospitalization can access help managing housing, transportation, and benefits through the Community Support Program. And when a community experiences trauma, BHN’s on-call Trauma Response Team is there to provide immediate support and help plan for long-term healing.
