Strengthening Families and Communities
The Center for Development offers therapy and skill-building for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Parenting support is available through home-visiting services for families with infants and young children under stress. Adults returning from psychiatric hospitalization can access help managing housing, transportation, and benefits through the Community Support Program. And when a community experiences trauma, BHN’s on-call Trauma Response Team is there to provide immediate support and help plan for long-term healing.
