A broad continuum of care for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions
A range of treatment options is available at New Life Recovery Centers, including detox, residential treatment, PHP day treatment, IOP Flex intensive outpatient care, and Virtual IOP telehealth. Clients can transition from residential treatment into lower levels of care within one organization rather than having to find new providers at each stage. One of the most flexible options is the IOP Flex program, which has daytime and evening options, making treatment more accessible for people who need ongoing support alongside work, school, or family responsibilities.
A home-like residential setting
The living environment for residential clients is calm and restorative, offering a warm, home-like environment rather than feeling like a clinical setting. Treatment follows a structured daily schedule, but clients also get downtime, which they can spend watching TV in the indoor relaxation lounge, hanging out in the outdoor relaxation lounge or courtyard, or playing ping pong. They can also choose to use this time for reflection, journaling, recreation, or rest.
A combination of treatment approaches
Treatment focuses on substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Various approaches may be incorporated into care plans, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and substance use counseling. Clients can work on their own substance use and mental health needs in individual sessions while also developing coping skills and strengthening peer connections in group treatment.
Family involvement and alumni support
Family involvement is an integral component of treatment at New Life Recovery Centers. To help strengthen relationships and improve support systems, family counseling is integrated into the program. Personal calls and visits can be arranged during residential treatment as well. The outpatient programs encourage family involvement, too. The IOP includes a dedicated four-week Family Program with weekly sessions that offer education and support. Peer support is also encouraged; lifetime alumni support is a defining part of the program. Alumni activities include support meetings, educational workshops, sober social events, and volunteer or mentorship opportunities, most of which are family-friendly.
