Co-Occurring Treatment Designed for Teens

Services include withdrawal management, individual, group, and family therapy, psychiatric care, psychological evaluation, and case management. Each teen begins with an orientation period of up to two weeks, allowing staff to assess needs and stabilize those requiring withdrawal support. Medical and psychiatric check-ins are integrated during this time to ensure safety. The program’s on-site school, operated by the Anchorage School District, enables students to continue their education alongside therapy and recovery work.

Integrated Peer Support

Peer Support Specialists use their own recovery experience to help youth and families build trust and stay engaged in care. The Access & Engagement team, which includes peer supporters and a mental health clinician, provides early connection through pre-assessment support, crisis intervention, and family guidance. Within the program, peer supporters mentor youth in recovery, assist with life skills, and support education and employment planning.

Campus Designed to Encourage Recovery

Located in Eagle River, Alaska, the facility is surrounded by mountain views and open natural light. The facility includes two residential wings, classrooms, and a gym with a climbing wall and basketball hoop. The group rooms and outdoor fire pit create a warm, communal environment that supports both structure and comfort. Youth are encouraged to take part in meaningful activities such as music, recreation, and art to develop healthy coping skills.
