Who is this facility a good fit for?
Best fit if: Adults who want residential treatment in a small, private setting; professionals or executives who may need phone or laptop access during treatment; people seeking care for both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions; those who want a blend of evidence-based and holistic therapies; have private insurance or can self pay.
Not a fit if: Those who want a fully unplugged or highly restrictive treatment environment; looking for a large peer community or a more social program; individuals who need hospital-level or more intensive medical care than a residential setting provides; those looking for outpatient-only care without a residential stay.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Personalized planning: The facility develops an individualized treatment plan after administering in-depth medical and psychological assessments that take into account each client's health, substance use history, and recovery goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
- Progress assessments: Clients work with their care team to evaluate their individualized treatment goals and reassess their care plan, to make adjustments throughout treatment.
- Detox and length of stay: Detox is medicated when needed and typically lasts about 3–14 days. The facility offers 30-, 60-, and 90-day residential treatment programs.
Typical schedule
Structured with flexibility: Clients typically wake around 6:30 a.m., with breakfast at 7 a.m. Therapy groups and educational programming take place throughout the day, with scheduled meals, evening free time, and lights out around 10:30 p.m.
Daily programming: Treatment includes process groups, addiction education, family dynamics, art therapy, 12-step classes, SMART Recovery support, holistic care options, relapse prevention, coping skills, role-play exercises, life skills and individual therapy multiple times per week.
Technology and visitation: Weekly outings are available and clients can stay in contact with family during treatment through personal device usage. Computers, a scanner, and a fax machine are also available for client use at designated times. Sunday visitation may be allowed with therapist approval.
Who you will meet with
- Clinical and medical staff: Clinical staff includes a multidisciplinary team that may consist of medical doctors, therapists, counselors, physician assistants, nurses, case managers, behavioral health technicians, and other support staff.
- Therapeutic support: Clients can expect to meet with a therapist multiple times per week in addition to participating in daily group-based programming.
Living experiences and amenities
- Luxury, home-like setting: The program is set near the Rocky Mountains and national forest land, providing a quiet comfort-focused recovery environment.
- Small program size: With six beds, the facility offers a low client-to-staff ratio and a quieter, more personalized environment.
- Comfort-forward accommodations: Clients stay in spacious shared bedrooms with king-size beds, dressers, closets, ensuite bathrooms, and mountain views.
- Amenities: Amenities include an outdoor pool, gazebo, fire pit, outdoor patio, fitness center, recreation room, computer lab, and chef-prepared meals.
