A Women-Only Residential Program for Pregnancy and Parenting

Southcentral Foundation – Dena A Coy provides 24-hour residential substance use treatment for adult women, including those who are pregnant, postpartum, or parenting. A key option is that children aged three and under may be considered for admission with their mothers, helping women stay connected to parenting while they focus on recovery.

Integrated Support for Substance Use and Mental Health

Services include individual addiction and mental health counseling, group counseling, and case management. Groups cover practical and relationship-focused topics such as parenting, domestic violence, anger, healthy relationships, symptom management, anxiety and depression, relapse prevention, community recovery skills, life skills, and health and wellness.

Trauma-Related Care for Women with Complex Needs

The program includes trauma-related counseling and offers groups tailored for adult women, pregnant and postpartum women, and women who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, or intimate partner violence or domestic violence. It also serves clients with co-occurring mental and substance use disorders and clients with co-occurring pain and substance use disorders.

Medication Continuity When Prescribed Elsewhere

Dena A Coy accepts clients who are using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcohol use disorder when those medications are prescribed elsewhere. This can help people continue an existing medication plan while participating in residential treatment.

Practical Amenities and Discharge Planning for Next Steps

To support day-to-day stability during treatment, the program offers meals, laundry service, and shared or private room options, and the campus does not permit smoking or vaping. Discharge planning is paired with recovery supports such as naloxone and overdose education, housing services, help obtaining social services, peer support, and self-help groups. Transportation assistance is also available.
