Who is this facility a good fit for?
- Best fit if: Adults seeking a full continuum of addiction treatment, including detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, outpatient, and virtual outpatient services; individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns; veterans, active-duty military members, military families, and older adults; individuals who prefer a structured treatment environment with limited phone access; families seeking involvement in treatment; clients who value peer support and community-based recovery; individuals who appreciate transparent pricing information.
- Not a fit if: People seeking private rooms or luxury accommodations; individuals who require unrestricted access to personal phones and technology; those looking for highly individualized treatment with minimal group participation; clients who prefer a small boutique program; individuals seeking a gender-specific treatment program rather than co-ed treatment groups.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Intake and admission: Before treatment starts clients undergo a series of assessments and evaluations including substance use, mental health, medical history, and a physical examination. A substance use screening is also done prior to beginning treatment.
- Treatment plan: Individualized care plans are developed through the client working with a team of counselors, therapists, medical providers, and physicians.
Who you will meet with
- Clinical staff: Individual counselors, therapists, and case managers provide counseling, therapy, treatment planning, and recovery support.
- Medical team: Nurses who are onsite daily, medical providers, medical directors, and physicians that are available on-call oversee medical care, medication management, and health-related needs during recovery.
Typical schedule
- Treatment activities: Daily programming usually includes a mix of peer meditation, community meetings, small therapy groups, individual counseling sessions, medical appointments, and recovery goal- setting activities.
- Clinical approaches: Clients can expect to participate in a wide array of evidence-based treatment approaches. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-focused counseling, 12-step facilitation, and anger management.
- Family involvement: Though visitation is restricted during the initial adjustment period of about a week, family counseling and couples counseling are available, and scheduled family visitation takes place on Sundays through counselor coordination.
Living experiences and amenities
- Living arrangements: Clients stay in apartment-style housing with about six residents per apartment, two per bedroom, with shared bathroom arrangements. Kitchenette access is available as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. All housing is gender specific.
- Recreational amenities: On-campus amenities include a fitness center, library, outdoor recreation areas with cornhole and social spaces, and a campus store with snacks, hygiene items, books, and clothing. Clients also have the opportunity to go on community outings including shopping excursions.
Aftercare
- Continuing care services: Aftercare planning takes place during treatment with continuing care services and discharge planning available to support the client's recovery goals after leaving the facility.
- Recovery and community support: Alumni involvement, peer support services, self-help groups, recovery mentoring services, and housing support assistance are available to help clients stay connected to recovery resources after treatment is complete.
Pre-Admissions Experience
We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on May 27, 2026 to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.
We came away with a generally positive impression of the admissions experience. The representative was friendly, helpful, and transparent about pricing, housing arrangements, phone policies, and program expectations. While some clinical questions required additional follow-up, the representative provided available information and offered supplemental materials to fill in the gaps. The conversation felt supportive and informative.
