Supportive Residential Treatment

Deliverance House provides short and long-term residential treatment for women recovering from substance use and trauma, many who are balancing recovery, parenting, or housing challenges. The program offers 24-hour support and treatment combining evidence-based counseling, peer mentorship, and access to medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when needed. Staff help women set daily goals, learn steps to rebuild self-worth, and reconnect with their values.

Mothers with Young Children Welcome

The program allows mothers to live with their young children during treatment. Women and their children up to age five can share private or semi-private family rooms for the duration of treatment. Daily life balances recovery work with parenting time, so mothers can practice new coping skills while maintaining vital family bonds. The facility includes an indoor playroom, outdoor playground, and family-style dining areas for a sense of community. In this environment, mothers have the chance to begin reunification and strengthen emotional connection with their children.

Trauma-Informed Care and MAT Integration

Many women enter treatment carrying the weight of trauma, loss, or abuse. Deliverance House uses evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches as well as 12-step care to help women process difficult experiences in a safe, guided way. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT), can be prescribed as needed to manage withdrawal and cravings. Mental health care is built into each individual plan.

Aftercare and Case Management

Clients receive counseling, relapse-prevention education, and help developing practical skills for independent living. Vocational services are offered to assist with job readiness, resume building, and interview preparation. Case managers can help address housing, legal, or custody challenges. Peer mentors and alumni are available to provide guidance and community connection. As women progress, they can transition into CommQuest’s supportive housing or aftercare programs. By the time they leave, clients have a personalized recovery plan that can include employment, social support, and ongoing mental health care.
