Full Continuum of Care

Soba Mesa provides a connected path through treatment, from detoxification and residential care to partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient, and sober living. This step-down approach helps clients stay with one team as their needs change, rather than starting over at each stage. For many people, that continuity can make it easier to stay engaged, return to work or school, and practice new skills while still having structured support.

Integrated Support for Substance Use and Mental Health

The program is designed for adults with substance use challenges, including those with co-occurring mental health needs, past trauma, chronic pain, or complex medical and social histories. Clients receive comprehensive assessments that look at substance use, mental health, and physical health together, along with screening and testing for infections when appropriate. Specialized care is available for veterans, active duty service members, military families, older adults, clients with justice involvement, people living with HIV or AIDS, and clients who have experienced violence.

Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) and Evidence-Based Therapies

The center can prescribe and manage medications for addiction treatment (MAT) and mental health medications on site. Care can include medication options for withdrawal, maintenance, and relapse prevention, along with support for clients who begin treatment already taking these medications from outside prescribers. Evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and relapse prevention are paired with 12-step work and non-12-step options such as SMART Recovery.

Holistic Services and Aftercare

Holistic services can include a combination of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, art and experiential therapies, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and wellness-focused groups. Aftercare planning, self-help and alternative recovery meetings, peer mentoring, and alumni-style recovery support aim to keep clients connected after they leave higher levels of care. Case management, help accessing social services, transportation assistance, housing support, employment counseling, and life skills groups are available.
