Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults seeking residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a luxury setting; professionals who want access to an executive program with private rooms and technology access; are interested in evidence-based treatment and wellness services such as equine therapy, massage therapy, and fitness programming; value comfort and resort-style amenities; are traveling from out of state for treatment; and have private insurance or can self-pay.

  • Not a fit if: Adults are seeking a lower-cost treatment option; who prefer a highly clinical or hospital-based environment; want unrestricted access to phones and computers without participating in the executive program; or are looking for a large campus-style facility with numerous specialized treatment tracks.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Assessment before intake: Before admission clients undergo a phone assessment that covers substance use history, mental health history, their personal background, and recovery needs.
  • Individual treatment plans: Care plans are individualized and built with the clinical team and the client working together to create a plan that works specifically for the individual in recovery.

Who you will meet with

  • Clinical team: Clients work with an individual therapist, case manager, master's-level clinicians, and licensed psychologists who provide individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, and continued recovery support.
  • Medical and psychiatric support: Psychiatrists and other medical providers help with mental health symptoms, medications, and addiction treatment during recovery.

Typical schedule

  • Therapy and clinical programming: Treatment includes individual therapy, group therapy, and ongoing clinical support during the day. Clients may take part in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapies, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), biofeedback, and medications for addiction treatment (MAT).
  • Experiential and wellness services: Clients may have access to wellness programming that includes equine therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and fitness programming.
  • Recreation and downtime: During free time, clients have the chance to take part in amenities such as the pool, fitness facilities, movie theater, and other recreational spaces.
  • Family visitation: Loved ones can visit with the client during scheduled weekend visitation. Family counseling is also available.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Residential setting and amenities: Clients stay in an upscale residence with about 6-15 other clients. The facility has a swimming pool, sauna, sports court, walking paths, a fitness center, and shared indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Living arrangements: Shared rooms are available for the standard client track with typically one or two roommates per room. Private rooms are available through the executive program, where clients also maintain access to technology to help them stay connected to work-related responsibilities.

Aftercare

  • Discharge planning and aftercare: As treatment comes to a close, clients work with their care team to plan for their continued recovery. They also connect to support services that help after discharge.
  • Recovery and alumni support: Clients have access to peer support services, housing assistance, employment counseling, social services assistance, alumni events and activities, and additional follow-up sessions after treatment.

Pre-admissions experience

Information was shared openly, including program costs and treatment details, and the conversation felt transparent and low-pressure.
