Well-Rounded Inpatient Support
Inpatient residential treatment incorporates medical detox if required, individual and group therapy, trauma-informed counseling, and support for co-occurring mental health conditions. Recreational and wellness activities promote healing beyond clinical care, with offerings such as on-site yoga, meditation classes, art and music therapy, and more. Nutritional shared meals and semi-private living spaces foster community and stability during intensive phases of treatment.
Outpatient Support to Prepare for Life After Treatment
PHP treatment offers structured daytime sessions five days per week, with individual and group therapy, relapse prevention, and educational workshops. IOP offers several sessions per week, blending counseling with life skills training in areas such as employment readiness, financial literacy, and social skills development. Across all levels of care, clients receive peer support, 12-Step support, and experiential therapies to reinforce recovery in daily life.
Healing In A Space Designed for Comfort, Reflection, and Structure
The campus offers views of Sabino Canyon and access to desert and mountain landscapes that encourage reflection and outdoor recreation. Residential spaces balance structure with comfort, featuring shared rooms, designated lounge spaces, and areas for group gatherings. TVs in detox rooms, a swimming pool, game rooms, and a music studio provide healthy outlets during treatment. Meditation and relaxation areas, as well as designated smoking areas, are available to meet a range of needs.
Client Reviews
Many clients describe life-changing support from staff, effective therapy programs, and strong peer community. At the same time, several reviews mention challenges with the admissions process, inconsistent detox practices, and facility staff.
- Staff & Care Experience (70% positive): Many highlight compassionate, relatable staff—often in recovery themselves—who go above and beyond. Some, however, describe unprofessional interactions with staff. "The staff is knowledgeable and caring."
- Treatment Quality & Outcomes (65% positive): Numerous reviews credit ARC with changing their lives, providing tools for sobriety, and offering strong IOP and aftercare support. A smaller group felt treatment, especially during detox, was rushed or could be improved. "This place saved my life."
- Facility & Environment (55% positive): Clients praise comfortable rooms, equine therapy, and amenities like massage chairs, but others report needs for improved upkeep, missing belongings, or non-working appliances.
- Access & Process: Positive experiences mention smooth admissions and helpful transportation, but many express frustration around phone access, communication with families, and in transitioning between levels of care.
- Support & Community: Peer support, AA/NA groups, and faith-based options are appreciated, helping many feel part of a recovery community. "It made it so much easier to embrace recovery."
