Personalized, Integrated Residential Care

Choice Wellness offers 24/7 residential treatment for adults facing substance use and mental health challenges, providing integrated care for co-occurring conditions in one coordinated setting. Guided by its mission to educate the mind to positively influence choices, the program combines clinical treatment with a restorative environment. Residents live in home-style housing with both private and shared room options, allowing for structure and comfort without an institutional feel.

Holistic and Evidence-Based Approach

Each resident’s treatment is organized through a Personalized Care Plan Structure (PCPS) that begins with a thorough assessment and tailored goal setting. Evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed counseling are paired with holistic supports that address mental, emotional, and physical wellness. The facility also provides medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine and naltrexone, to manage cravings and support relapse prevention.

Skill Development and Real-Life Support

Beyond therapy, Choice Wellness emphasizes building practical life skills that help clients sustain recovery after discharge. Services include vocational training, employment counseling, and educational support to help restore financial and social stability. Case management and transportation assistance help clients maintain access to care, while ongoing recovery coaching and aftercare planning extend support into the community.

Restorative Environment and Inclusive Care

Located near hiking and biking trails in the Peoria foothills, the natural surroundings encourage calm and reflection during recovery. Air-conditioned residences and small program sizes foster safety, comfort, and connection. The program is inclusive of all adults and offers language services in Spanish, American Indian or Alaska Native languages, and sign language for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Specialized programs support older adults, veterans, pregnant or postpartum women, and individuals with trauma or co-occurring pain conditions.
