Overview
Flexible outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions with in-person, virtual, and hybrid options designed to fit around daily life. Step-down treatment continuum
The center’s outpatient programs can be a good fit for clients who are stepping down from residential care and ready for the next phase of their recovery. Clients who don’t need 24/7 monitoring can start treatment directly in PHP or IOP. The PHP provides programming for 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. The IOP consists of 3-hour sessions held 3 to 5 days per week. After IOP, clients can step down to regular individual, group, and family outpatient counseling sessions.
Accessible care
The IOP offers flexible options so clients can balance their recovery with work, school, family, and other personal responsibilities. Both day and evening sessions are available, and clients can choose to go during the day some days and during the evening on others if needed. Sessions can be attended in-person, virtually via telehealth, or a hybrid combination of both.
Therapy, peer support, and MAT
Master’s-level clinicians and recovery support specialists lead therapy sessions using evidence-based methods like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma counseling. Family education groups and relapse prevention education are also offered. Clients can participate in 12-Step groups as part of their recovery plan, where they can meet peers and build connections for long-term support and accountability. When needed, doctors can prescribe MAT to help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Lifetime alumni program
Graduates of Recovery Centers of America programs become part of the alumni community for life. The network hosts events such as weekly meetings, social events, educational sessions, and organized community service. Opportunities for mentorship, recovery coaching, and employment support are also offered. Being part of this program allows former clients to stay in touch, share their lived experiences and recovery journeys, and provide each other with mutual guidance.
