Teen-Centered Continuum of Care

Both residential and outpatient care are offered to meet teens where they are. Residential treatment typically lasts 30–60 days, combining psychiatric care, medication management, and daily therapy sessions with academics and fun activities. Teens can then step down to outpatient programs as needed. Each client’s treatment plan begins with a detailed assessment that considers medical history, mental health, and social environment. Facilities are designed to allow adolescents to step away from daily stressors and focus on recovery.

Academic and Life Skills Support

Programs are built for education to continue uninterrupted. Licensed teachers and tutors provide accredited instruction adapted to each student’s needs. Lesson plans are informed by neuropsychological assessments, school transcripts, and parent input. Standardized test preparation and individualized academic plans help ensure progress toward graduation or college readiness. Teens also gain vocational training and life skills support such as managing technology use. For older adolescents, the program offers college application guidance and career exploration.

Focused Family Therapy

Family involvement is central to the center’s approach, with therapy sessions designed to repair and strengthen parent–child relationships. Clinicians use Attachment-based family therapy (ABFT) in order to address communication issues and build trust. Support groups and educational workshops are held to provide tools for conflict resolution, boundary setting, and emotional regulation.

Transition and Long-Term Recovery

Before discharge, care staff help clients and families build personalized aftercare plans. These may include extra help with school reintegration and referrals to community resources. Teens and families often continue therapy sessions after treatment, supported by ongoing contact with clinicians. The Alumni Program provides access to peer groups, online forums, in-person gatherings, and family workshops.
