Newfane House of Hope - Residential Reintegration is a nonprofit residential program for men. It is designed to support clients as they move from treatment toward day-to-day stability, with a focus on the practical steps of reintegrating into the community. The program uses a harm reduction lens and meets residents where they are in recovery. Its core model combines clinical counseling with recovery coaching, offering both structured therapeutic support and consistent, recovery-oriented guidance. Services include individual and group counseling, relapse prevention support, and trauma-related counseling, along with 12-step facilitation.

Practical Life Skills with Housing and Vocational Support

Residents work on life skills such as cooking and cleaning and can receive support with housing services and vocational support, including employment counseling or training. Case management and assistance with obtaining social services can help residents address common barriers as they prepare for what comes next.

Planning for life after the program is a central part of treatment. Each resident leaves with an individualized aftercare plan that outlines healthy goals and supportive people to lean on during reintegration. Residents are also linked with a Save the Michaels of the World, Inc. recovery coach prior to completing the program to support continuity after discharge. Transition support may include naloxone and overdose education. The program accepts residents who use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when these medications are prescribed elsewhere.
