Specialized Care for Teenage Boys

The center offers a gender-specific program where teen boys receive weekly individual therapy for focused attention, daily clinical mentoring to address boys’ goals and help them work on setbacks constructively, and biweekly family therapy for mutual healing. This layered support helps boys learn to manage their mental health challenges by building trust, improving self-awareness, and repairing and strengthening family relationships. Therapy is tailored to the developmental needs of adolescent males in a safe, supportive setting.

Abundant Therapeutic Recreational Activities

Recovery at the center goes well beyond traditional therapy. Teens participate in weekly outings including activities like surfing, hiking, horseback riding, beach visits, and go-karting. These outings are designed to increase confidence, improve mood regulation, and foster meaningful connection among peers. An experiential therapy known as Rock to Recovery provides a fun form of music-based therapy. Personal training and boxing are offered to give boys a healthy outlet for stress, anger, and other complex emotions.

Academic Support Incorporated Into Treatment

Teen boys are provided with both focused mental health treatment and education to keep them on track with their studies and make sure they don’t miss out on crucial learning during their residential treatment. The program includes structured academic time with study support to help adolescents maintain their academic progress. Study areas and educational resources are available. This continuity reduces school-related stress and helps preserve self-esteem, easing the transition back to school after treatment.

Targeted Program for Technology Dependence

The center offers specialized treatment for technology dependence — a growing issue among adolescents. The program addresses compulsive gaming, excessive screen use, and social media misuse through both clinical therapy and lifestyle restructuring. By replacing screen time with outdoor activity, therapeutic engagement, and peer connection, the program helps teens build social skills away from screens, regain balance, and build healthier habits.
